Abstract

Lindseyus heterurus

 

(Schuurmans Stekhoven & Teunissen, 1938) Coomans & Kheiri, 1986 is described and illustrated with male and female specimens collected from different localities and aquatic habitats of continental Spain. Morphological features, morphometric data and original microphotographs are provided. A comparison with previous descriptions of type material and additional specimens is given. The presence of this species out of Africa, in the Iberian Peninsula, is confirmed.
