La percepción de jugadores de esports sobre su aprendizaje de lengua extranjera

Resumen

El crecimiento de la industria de los videojuegos, y en concreto de los eSports, en diferentes países y el hecho de que estos se jueguen en línea han permitido y fomentado la comunicación de jugadores españoles con jugadores hablantes de una lengua distinta a la de ellos. Estos jugadores han vivido también la enseñanza de la lengua extranjera en la escuela. Atendiendo a estas circunstancias hemos querido comprender cómo han percibido este proceso en ambos contextos y cómo los videojuegos lo han afectado. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de caso. Esta investigación nos ha permitido comprender qué oportunidades presentan estas competiciones de videojuegos para el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera.
