This paper explores the intersection of social media and racism, focusing on how algorithms and their biases perpetuate racial inequalities in the digital public sphere. By examining the evolution of the public sphere, the role of algorithms, and the spread of racist narratives, the study highlights the ethical implications for democracy and digital governance. The findings underscore the need for regulatory interventions to mitigate algorithmic bias and ensure fair public discourse, promoting a more inclusive and equitable digital environment.
