Abstract

In this contribution, one in the series on rhabditid nematodes from natural areas of SE Iberian Peninsula, four previously known species belonging to the family Panagrolaimidae are studied: Propanagrolaimus hygrophilus (Bassen, 1940) Andr.ssy, 2005, Panagrolaimus rigidus (Schneider, 1866) Thorne, 1937, P. superbus Fuchs, 1930, and Tricephalobus sp. Descriptions, measurements and illustrations, including SEM photographs of two species, are provided. A list of 38 valid species and six species inquirendae or incertae sedis classified under Panagrolaimus is presented, as well as a compendium of their most relevant measurements and ratios, and a key to their identification.
