Abstract

Five known rhabditid species are studied from southeastern Iberian peninsula, namely

Pelodera strongyloides, Dolichorhabditis tipulae, Curviditis curvicaudata, Rhabditis guinardi and R. wohlgemuthi. Descriptions, measurements and illustrations are provided, including SEM pictures of three of them. The Andalusian material is compared to other populations of the respective species, and the new data obtained allow improving their characterization. A dichotomous key is given to the identification of Rhabditis and Dolichorhabditis species, as well as a compendium of their measurements; moreover, illustrations of the male tail is provided for Rhabditis species.
