Nematodes of the family Dorylaimidae from Iran

Abstract

In this paper a study of dorylaimid nematodes collected from soil of several regions in Iran is presented. The following five species are reported for the first time in this country: Ischiodorylaimus cognatus, Laimydorus pseudostagnalis, Mesodorylaimus litoralis, Thornenema mauritianum and Opisthodorylaimus sylphoides. Description, measurements and distribution are provided for each especies; in addition, SEM illustrations are also presented for four of them.
