Abstract

 

 

Nygolaimium menzeli (Micoletzky, 1925) Heyns, 1968 is redescribed based on a single female and a male specimen collected from a natural forest in Costa Rica. Since the type material of this species is no more in existence, a neotype is designated. The male is recorded here for the first time in this genus.
