Educación Musical en la Formación inicial del Grado de Educación Infantil: la percepción de los futuros docentes
Abstract
It´s undisputed the role that the Music Education has in the student training in the Childhood Education when it´s pursued the integral formation. For this reason, subjects of the different Title Early Childhood Education Degreed are guided to teach to the future teachers in Music Education.
This quantitative study presents the results obtained with a questionnaire create ad hoc to this research previously validated, it was filled by 126 students of the last course Degreed Early Childhood Education in the Murcia University and the attached faculty (ISEN) about methodological aspects, the importance of different musical disciplines and about their own abilities and Music Education training. The results show that students grant to the Music Education high pedagogical value despite being undervalued compared to others, while they award to the movement greater importance compared to other musical aspects. So that, it exists an inconsistency between academic training and teacher preparation.
