Peer Review Process

Manuscripts sent to REID go through a peer review process. First of all, the manuscript is received by the Editorial Team, who values its compliance with the journal's objectives as well as with its style guidelines.

Waiting time for the reception of the review is within 2-4 months.

Approved articles are usually published in the issue that is being drafted at the time or in the next issue, at the latest. Authors will be dully informed throughout the process.

Journal History

The Revista Electrónica de Investigación y Docencia (REID) was founded in 2007 by Antonio Pantoja Vallejo on behalf of the IDEO Research Group. Its final approval by the Department of Pedagogy of the University of Jaén (Spain), took place on March 11, 2008, as recorded in the minutes corresponding to the extraordinary session held. On May 11, 2008, an inter-institutional collaboration agreement was signed between the University of Jaén (Spain), the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC - Brazil) and the Barriga Verde University Center (UNIBAVE - Brazil). Said agreement was terminated, through the corresponding complaint, on February 14, 2017. Since then, the IDEO Group has remained the sole responsible of REID.
