Se trata de un libro de bolsillo de 221 páginas, que recoge dos artículos de la profesora Carmen Trillo San José. El primer artículo se titula “El mundo rural nazarí: una evolución a partir de al-Andalus; el segundo, “Análisis social del regadío en al-Andalus: el entorno de la Granada nazarí (siglos XIII-XV)”. Ambos trabajos son claramente complementarios, puesto que el primero se dedica a las áreas rurales no inmediatas a las ciudades y el segundo a la periferia urbana de Granada. Tanto uno como otro cuentan con introducciones prolijas que pueden resultar reiterativas en algunos aspectos, pero de gran utilidad por el “estado de la cuestión” que plantean.
