Cerámicas emirales y califales halladas en Mallorca

Cuando en 1978 se publicó el "Ensayo de sistematización de la cerámica árabe en Mallorca" (ROSSELLÓ BORDOY, 1978) su autor había ya publicado dos estudios dedicados a la cerámica de época califal. El primero, titulado "Ceràmica califal descoberta a Mallorca" (ROSSELLÓ BORDOY, 1973) era una obra muy primeriza actualmente desfasada por el aumento de los conocimientos sobre la cerámica de época taifa. En el segundo, extrañamente ignorado en el "Ensayo de sistematización...", se presentaba un conjunto de materiales procedentes de un asentamiento rural del bronce medio reocupado en época islámica (ROSSELLÓ BORDOY, 1972). Estos materiales se encontraron asociados a un hogar fechado por C14 en torno a 960.
