The methods used for reconstructing the picture of This paper supports a conception of town, based on dynamics of transformation reflecting the process developped in the social structure of the period. Following the recent archaeological research it states the existence of two phases. The first phase -second half of the 6th century and early decades of the 7th- reflects a rebirth of some of the towns. The second phase -second half of the 7th century- shows an urban de-structuration connected with the crisis of Visigothic State.
