Alcaudete. Un intento de proyecto integrado

Durante 1992 recibimos el encargo de la Delegación Provincial de Jaén de la Consejería de Cultura y Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucía, de redactar un proyecto de intervención arqueológica en el Castillo de Alcaudete y zonas próximas al mismo. Proyecto que había sido requerido por el Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Alcaudete y por la Junta Rectora de la Escuela Taller de dicha localidad. Su objetivo era planificar una serie de trabajos que serían el preámbulo de un proyecto de restauración ejecutado por la Escuela Taller.
Según se desprendió de las diversas reuniones mantenidas con la dirección de la Escuela y el director del Área de Cultura del Ayuntamiento, el proyecto en principio debía de recoger las directrices básicas para una “intervención arqueológica de apoyo a la restauración”, para una vez finalizados tales trabajos iniciar la consolidación arquitectónica.
Como cuerpo de apoyo en estas labores se preten día, por parte de la Escuela Taller, la creación y, por tanto, la planificación de varios módulos de Arqueología, cuyos alumnos-trabajadores fueran los encargados de la realización de tales tareas.
