This study focuses on the development of a territory from the Asturian central coast between, approximately, the 10th and 13th centuries, when it functioned as a alfoz. The scarcity of studies related to the analysis of these Asturian medieval territories gives way to simple approximations like the one presented here, with the aim of achieving a level of know- ledge similar to the one we have on other peninsular areas.
