The Alhambra is a palacial city occupied from the XIIIth century, but with antecedent and, of course, with subsequent transformations. In this article are traced the general lines of its evolution, as of an archaelogic analysis, that takes into account the spatial organization and the references found in the writtensources. This study is developed from a global and unitary perspective, rather than partial and of course a historical point of view.
