La villa medieval de Salinillas de Buradón (Álava)
Una aproximación a la génesis y evolución de su espacio urbano

A través del artículo presentamos una propuesta interpretativa de la evolución urbanística de la villa de Sali- nillas de Buradón realizada mediante la utilización de las fuentes arqueológicas y documentales. Está basado en un estudio histórico-arqueológico llevado a cabo con el fin de fijar unas directrices de actuación y planificación atendiendo a las características del sustrato arqueológico de la villa y a las diferentes problemáticas históricas a resolver. Así pues, el eje principal de la investigación ha sido el estudio de la estructura física y material de la villa entendida de forma global, es decir, integrando todos sus elementos –los más espectaculares y los más humildes– dentro de nuestro análisis con el fin de ofrecer una visión conjunta de lo que fue la villa desde su fundación hasta la actualidad.
