This paper introduces an unknown castle in the Alpujarra (Granada). Because of its situation on the right bank of the Laroles river, near the La Ragua river and several villages like Picena and Laroles, it may be identified with the fiant Afliy castle, mentionned in the arab texts in the XI th century.
