Abstract

Poverty in Colombia is one of the most frightening of century. Despite the efforts of recent governments, programs an economic and social politic have failed to significantly reduce national poverty rates and poverty. The poor in Colombia continue to part of the forgotten population, invisible in the eyes of the government and other citizens, excluded and marginalized in society, with all kinds of shortages and deficiencies.
