Submissions

Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of recent submissions. Go to Login to an existing account or Register a new account.

The REJ publishes articles, notes, legislative or jurisprudential comments, and reviews according to the editorial, acceptance, and review criteria indicated below. Without prejudice to the above procedure, you can also submit it to revista-rej@ujaen.es.

The texts must be unpublished, although the Editorial Board may evaluate the appropriateness of accepting previously published works, especially in the case of translations or articles whose dissemination in Spain is of particular interest.

In the case of two or more authors, the chosen criterion for deciding the order of signature must be indicated, as well as the specific contribution of each author regarding the submitted work.

The deadlines for their review will occur within a maximum of two months following the receipt of the article. After this period, acceptance will be communicated, along with the evaluation reports. Authors will have 15 days to submit the work in its final form.

The Journal's Secretariat will acknowledge receipt of the submitted works to the authors.

The works, after being subjected to plagiarism review (TURNITIN) and editing by Artificial Intelligence, are admitted for review by the Editorial Team and/or the Editorial Board.

Evaluation of Submitted Works

Accepted works will undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by an internal and an external evaluator. Among other criteria, factors such as originality, depth of research conducted, and relevance and timeliness of the topic will be assessed. This process will conclude with the acceptance, rejection, or recommendation for modifications of the work.

In the event of acceptance of the work, the author(s) exclusively grant the REJ reproduction rights to their works and agree to sign a rights transfer agreement. However, the authors are solely responsible for the content of the works.

The works will be published continuously in electronic format and open access, without prejudice to the possibility of their incorporation into public or private electronic databases.
