Símbolos religiosos en un estado democrático y plural

Resumo

Este trabajo se centra las últimas sentencias dadas por las jurisdicciones española y de Estrasburgo en materia de símbolos religiosos. Desde esta perspectiva, se quiere analizar si las respuestas dadas a estos conflictos por ambas jurisdicciones se adecúan correctamente a las exigencias de la libertad religiosa en una sociedad democrática y plural.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the latest judgments delivered by both the Spanish and Strasbourg jurisdiction in the matter of religious symbols. From this approach it is intended to analyze whether the answers given to these conflicts by both jurisdictions  have correctly assessed the requirements of the free exercise of religion in a democratic and pluralistic society.
