«Ella por mí se anda, se anda, y yo por ella... también»: The Laughter in Coplas of the Chilena

Laughter and humor are distinctive topics in traditional and folk lyrical poetry. The elements of humor and comicity appear in folksongs and these elements address to the receiver. This results in the creation of rhetorical devices that are also present in the Chilena, especially in its performative dimension.
