En las presentes páginas, nos hemos ocupado de editar un corpus de romances y canciones que se registraron en diversas localidades de la provincia de Jaén y posteriormente se incorporaron al Corpus Digital Giennense de Literatura de tradición oral (CDG).
En particular, editamos un conjunto de romances recopilados en Arroyo del Ojanco, Bailén, Castillo de Locubín, Fuerte del Rey, Jaén, Mengíbar, Noguerones, Porcuna, Quesada y Valdepeñas de Jaén; y canciones procedentes de Cambil, Castillo de Locubín y Mengíbar. Se trata de composiciones que fueron recopiladas por un grupo de alumnos e investigadores, entre los meses de marzo de 2009 y octubre de 2010, bajo la coordinación del Prof. David Mañero Lozano.
