En las siguientes páginas, se edita un corpus de romances y canciones registradas en varias localidades de la provincia de Jaén entre los años 1994 y 1995, concretamente en la Sierra Sur, que se incorporaron al Corpus Digital Giennense de Literatura de tradición oral (CDG). En concreto, transcribimos un conjunto de romances y coplas populares recogidas en Alcalá la Real, Las Pilas de Fuente del Soto, Castillo de Locubín y Villalobos.
