Escribir y compartir: prácticas escritas e identidad de los adolescentes en instagram

Abstract

En la actualidad, Instagram se ha convertido en la red social más popular entre los jóvenes españoles. Este entorno virtual permite generar prácticas letradas digitales que combinan elementos multimodales: lingüísticos, discursivos y otros recursos semióticos como la imagen (fija o en movimiento), el sonido, la tipografía, etc. Dichas prácticas consisten en 1) compartir fotos y vídeos, combinados habitualmente con un pie de foto, información sobre la ubicación, número de “Me gusta” y comentarios de seguidores; 2) publicar historias (fotos o vídeos breves que desaparecen a las veinticuatro horas de su publicación); y 3) gestionar la información del perfil (foto y datos personales). Basándose en los principios de la etnografía en línea, este estudio realiza un análisis preliminar de las prácticas letradas en Instagram de cuatro adolescentes de Barcelona. El artículo se centra particularmente en sus actividades escritas para conocer qué aspectos de la identidad se manifiestan en sus cuentas.
