¿Cómo acercar la literatura universal inglesa a los lectores de Educación Infantil y Primaria desde el disfrute de la lectura de Edgar Allan Poe? El presente trabajo pretende dar respuesta a este planteamiento inicial partiendo, de un lado, del estudio de la producción editorial de los cuentos del autor norteamericano y, de otro, del diseño de distintas propuestas didácticas destinadas a estas etapas. Ambos objetivos se abordan teniendo en cuenta las características de los lectores y el tipo de edición que de la narrativa de Poe se localiza en el mercado editorial educativo.
