The pool: a new context for oral expression and emotions

Nowadays, innovating in the world of pre-primary education is an increasingly complex action because it seems that everything is already invented, or that innovation only takes place through new technologies. We want to show a different path: In this article, the basic principles of an educational experience that combines such unalike elements as aquatic activity, literature and the development of emotions are described. In this sense, we explain the process of how motor stories can become an ideal educational instrument to achieve the development of oral expression in children. Moreover, this new context allows for a space of communication of emotions among parents, teachers and children. This educational experience is in the first phase of experimentation and development, and pursues the gradual implementation of a new and different itinerary for the promotion of reading.
