The purpose of this research, carried out in a Honduran university, is to evince the perceptions of students and teachers, in the process of research training, about the knowledge achieved regarding the written communication skill. The instruments used were a qualitative interview to the group of students and field notes for teachers. The findings reveal that the methodological didactic environment implemented promoted effective interaction among the educational actors and enhanced the development of students’ own personal resources to communicate in writing. In conclusion, the students’ mastery and effective application of the theoretical and practical rules of written communication in the field of scientific research is evinced.
