The objective of this research has been to design and validate an observation scale to evaluate the way in which Dialogic Literary Gatherings (DLG) are carried out, and, more specifically, the interactions generated in them. In the psychometric work, 5experts participated in the development of the instrument and three of them in its validation based on watching DLG videos with children. The resulting observation scale consists of 30 items grouped into three categories (text, moderator and participants). The results show a considerable index of agreement (k= .639; p=.000), and a consistency index according to Cronbach’s alpha of ɑ= .926. This scale can be used by teachers and researchers to evaluate the quality in the implementation of DLGs and also in the initial training and continuous learning of teachers who want to start out in this Successful Educational Action.
