Práctica educativa de familias con adolescentes en materia afectivo-sexual: una revisión sistemática exploratoria

Résumé

Con el progresivo reconocimiento de la educación integral en materia afectivosexual se presenta la oportunidad y el desafío de profundizar en su praxis. La literatura más reciente en las áreas educativa y social reconoce el desconocido papel de la familia en la educación de sus descendientes en el área afectivosexual y destaca su relevancia en etapas evolutivas de mayor riesgo y experimentación como lo es la adolescencia. El objetivo de este artículo fue el de analizar las características y las contribuciones de 27 estudios que examinaban la práctica educativa de familias de adolescentes en materia afectivosexual. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática exploratoria de la literatura de 123 artículos publicados entre enero de 2016 y enero de 2022. Con el fin de mantener en todo momento el mayor rigor metodológico se han seguido los criterios PRISMA, Arksey y O’Malley y SALSA de inclusión, exclusión, evaluación de pares para el análisis y descripción de resultados. Se identifica la escasez de investigaciones sobre el tema en bases científicas y se concluye que, a pesar de su importancia, la educación afectivosexual (EAS) familiar que recibe la adolescencia es insuficiente, suponiendo un desafío el conocimiento y la comprensión de estas prácticas, así como el diseño de intervenciones y programas dirigidos a favorecer las competencias parentales en la materia desde un enfoque transformador, inclusivo y holístico
