The journal reminds authors that invention of results, omission of data or falsification of data, as well as plagiarism involving the presentation of ideas, data or results created by others as their own is not permitted. The journal will take appropriate steps to make public to interested parties any cases of plagiarism that may occur in the papers received.

The opinions and facts contained in each article are the sole responsibility of the authors. The University of Jaén and the Permanent Seminar Water, Territory and Environment are not responsible in any case for the credibility and authenticity of the works.

The author will receive a reasoned report of the Editorial Board's decision, which will include the reasons for acceptance, request for modification or rejection of the manuscript. In the case of acceptance linked to the introduction of changes, the original reports of the reviewers will be sent to the author, together with the recommendations of the Editorial Board.

The author must make the required changes within fifteen days. If the author fails to comply with this deadline, his/her article may be delayed in the journal due to the need to close the edition. The revision of the proofs implies tacit consent to the publication of the article as resubmitted by the author. The original will be treated confidentially by the journal's editorial staff until it is published.

Articles signed by several authors must include a declaration signed by all authors certifying that they have directly contributed to the intellectual content of the work, that they are responsible for it, that they approve of it and that they agree to their name appearing as author. A scanned copy of the paper in PDF format will be sent to the following email address: revista-at@ujaen.es.

Authors must provide, if necessary, access to the data on which their work is based in order to clarify whether or not it is valid once it has been published.

The journal has an Author's Ombudsman, who is a member of the Editorial Board. Any complaints should be sent by e-mail to revista-at@ujaen.es, addressed to the Author's Ombudsman.

The journal does not return rejected papers and accepts no responsibility in the event of loss.

The section managers will inform of the receipt of the article and will be grateful for the submission within a maximum of ten days. The evaluation process must be completed within a maximum of three months.
