Water policies can be grouped between those that intend to provide more water resources to certain consumers (supply, irrigation, and other uses) and those that are aimed at controlling the water demands of these users. of research in dry spaces of Spanish regions such as the Iberian Southeast (Alicante, Murcia, and Almería) or the Eastern Canary Islands (Lanzarote and Fuerteventura) and water management policies in other regions and countries such as the Southwest of USA (California), Tunisia and Chile.
