Validação da Aparência da Escala de Insegurança Hídrica dos Lares em Populações Vulneráveis da Grande Buenos Aires, Argentina

Há ampla evidência sobre as consequências da falta de água segura na saúde e bem-estar das populações, o que justifica a necessidade de avançar na construção de novos instrumentos de medição. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar a validade de aparência da Escala HWISE para medir a insegurança hídrica na Argentina. Foram implementados quatro grupos focais com 24 mulheres residentes em áreas vulneráveis da Grande Buenos Aires, às quais foi administrada a escala. Os resultados refletem a amplitude das dimensões do fenômeno no discurso das participantes, e a formulação dos itens foi compreendida. A escala HWISE representa o fenômeno a partir da perspectiva de mulheres em situação de vulnerabilidade social, mas requer ajustes. Os itens são compreendidos e abrangem a abrangência do fenômeno, embora sejam identificadas áreas para melhorar sua precisão.
