Abstract

One of the most contemporary ideas of societal efficiency is represented by the notion of development. Far from being exclusively as a word of wide dissemination, the development
is in turn a motivation and social force of extraordinary power that is deeply embedded in the common sense of the world population. Set from a radical development anthropology, this
article will explore the development as an idea / force from a diachronic perspective to rebuild its main bases sense displayed while co-constitutive relations that have this specific metanarrative to the modernity, coloniality and capitalism.
