Abstract

This paper aims to identify existing cultural resources within the community of Cieneguilla, Municipality of Victoria, State of Guanajuato (México), and highlight the importance of such
resources as essential components for building a “New Culture of Water” has been promoted from the sector public, particularly by the COTAS of Sierra Gorda, in a scenario of “scarcity” and expectation by the community members. The results of this research are a key input into the strategy itself COTAS and could be emulated by other COTAS in building construction projects of a water culture territorialized.
