Abstract

This work has the intention of discussing some aspects of the contemporary kinship in the context of individualized societies. It tries to answer the questions, which are the social processes that have led to visualizing in a different way this area of classic study? Does the kinship theory still have relevancy in a context where social relations are delocalized?
