Abstract

Due to the little attention given, in the specialized literature, to the structural aspects in blood donation, we are going to analyze the item confidence in blood donation using interviews with persons with experience or not in donation, in where we prune to find some key of the attitudes opposite to blood donation. The aspects, under which the distrust is justified, are manifestations of this attitude to blood donation and not facts of punctual reluctances, as usually is attributed. The elements to keep in mind are: activation of the dis/confidence device, the latent monadism in the construction of nets with visible relations, conflicts generated in the interview before donating, as mechanism of visibility, and in donor responsibility in the transfusion.
