Abstract

What biopolitical transformations are pending and what risks does the ontological value of experience face in the knowledge obtained in the embodied body? How did Merleau-Ponty contribute to changing the Cartesian conception of the body? In what different ways have the philosophers Lacan, Foucault, Deleuze, Simone de Beauvoir developed our contemporary conception of the body? The Body Under Attack: The Threatening Return of Absolutist Currents of Moral Monisms?
