Abstract

This article presents the contribution of the Pedagogical Political Project to the achievement of a democratic school. And in this sense, the problem of this research was elaborated trying to answer the research question: How did the Pedagogical Political Project contributed to the construction of a democratic management in the Sadoc Pereira School? In this aspect the same was done aiming to analyze the contribution of the PPP to the construction of a democratic management. We seek to identify the relevance of PPP for the construction of a democratic school; identify the activities developed by the school regarding the Pedagogical Political Project that contributed to the construction of a democratic school; Characterize the importance of teamwork for the preparation of the PPP; Describe the participation of the local community in the activities performed by the school. The methodology adopted is based on a qualitative approach, descriptive and non-experimental design, as a tool for data collection was applied interviews to school components: managers, teachers, students and community. The results allow us to affirm that the Pedagogical Political Project contributed greatly to the construction of a democratic school and that the actions developed and the way of organization of the PPP were extremely important for a State reference school in democratic management.
