La investigación evaluativa: enfoque estratégico para una educación a distancia en entornos virtuales de calidad

Este trabajo analiza el aporte de la investigación evaluativa en una educación a distancia en entornos virtuales de calidad para, con ello, esbozar un enfoque estratégico de acción que incida en la mejora continua de las experiencias de eLearning.
Los planteamientos de una investigación evaluativa desde el enfoque de la investigación en la acción ofrecen la posibilidad de dar respuesta a las nuevas demandas de la sociedad de la información y el conocimiento. La celeridad y la especificidad de los cambios que se producen en la enseñanza en línea requieren de diseños evaluativos flexibles y diversos. Por ello, se presentan un compendio de estrategias e instrumentos recogidos en torno a las dimensiones que caracterizan a la educación a distancia.
El enfoque estratégico incide en el estudio evaluativo desde una perspectiva holística que permite obtener una información fiable, sistemática y contrastada. Incurriendo igualmente en la profundización de aspectos comúnmente ignorados, como son las cuestiones sociales y de garantía de la inclusión.
