Inteligencia humana: ¿evolución o revolución?

La inteligencia humana es un constructo que ha sido abordado desde muy diferentes perspectivas desde tiempos inmemoriales. Dentro del ámbito psicológico, distintas escuelas y tradiciones han confluido en los primeros años del siglo XXI en evidencias empíricas que ponen de manifiesto que este concepto es mucho más amplio y complejo de lo que se había considerado durante buena parte del siglo XX. Este artículo, sin abandonar la sólida fundamentación teórica basada en estos grandes avances cosechados en el ámbito de la investigación sobre la inteligencia, pretende descender hasta las consecuencias que deberían tener estos cambios sobre la intervención educativa, proponiendo como vehículo de acción un modelo práctico capaz de articular ese “descenso a la realidad del aula”: el modelo CAIT.
