This article describes the design and implementation of an innovative teaching proposal aimed at improving eating habits in Pre-primary students. The initiative took place in a state school in Zaragoza and was based on a review of the current state of child nutrition. Project-Based Learning (PBL) was the core methodology used. Starting from the students’ prior knowledge, meaningful activities were designed to promote the acquisition of knowledge about the main food groups. The impact of this proposal was evaluated through direct observation and a questionnaire for families, which focused on recording daily food consumption. The results show a positive evolution in students' attitudes towards certain foods, as well as a greater awareness of the importance of a balanced diet. This study highlights the potential of PBL as an effective pedagogical tool for developing healthy habits from the earliest stages of education.
