Taller de arte contemporáneo como herramienta de trabajo para educadores sociales con personas privadas de libertad
Abstract
En este artículo se recoge una experiencia realizada con personas privadas de libertad pertenecientes al Centro Penitenciario de Villabona (Asturias) y con estudiantes de último curso de la diplomatura de Educación Social de Oviedo, que utilizaron el arte contemporáneo como puente entre ambos colectivos y como herramienta para la integración social.
Tomando como eje la exposición itinerante "Pasajes. Viajes por el hiper-espacio", selección de obras pertenecientes a la colección Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (T-B A21) del centro LABoral (Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial de Gijón), los alumnos de dicha diplomatura realizaron varios talleres durante el mes de Enero de 2011.
Se subraya la gran aceptación que esta experiencia tuvo por parte de todas las personas implicadas en la misma.
