Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the observation tool to assess the technique and efficiency in volleyball (TEVOL) and beach volleyball (TEBEVOL), and the available tools for the process of training observers in its use. The paper describes the characteristics of the TEVOL and TEBEVOL instruments and the support material available on the instrument's website: observers manual (full and reduced version), description of the variables on the website, presentations, self-evaluation videos, data collection forms, and training videos. The document describes strategies used for the observation and observer training process of the TEVOL and TEBEVOL.
