Bonos verdes para financiar la inversión socialmente responsable: un análisis bibliométrico

Resumen

Las finanzas sostenibles han incrementado su relevancia, en los últimos años, por su estrecha relación con el desarrollo sostenible y por las grandes necesidades de inversión estimadas. Tras un largo periodo de tipos de interés próximos a cero, en los dos últimos años hemos asistido a un cambio de escenario, por lo que conviene conocer cómo puede afectar esto último a la transición hacia una economía sostenible. Para acercarnos a este objeto de estudio y contextualizarlo, se lleva a cabo un análisis bibliométrico, utilizando la base Web of Science, sobre: finanzas sostenibles, Inversión Socialmente Responsable y bonos verdes. Se ha analizado la evolución de las publicaciones, los países más activos, las instituciones y autores más relevantes, los tópicos más investigados, los artículos más citados y la relación de estas tres áreas con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, para tratar de detectar tendencias, omisiones y oportunidades de investigación. El análisis revela que las finanzas sostenibles están muy asociadas con los aspectos climáticos y con los bonos verdes, que el rendimiento de carteras de bonos verdes y de otros activos financieros sostenibles es una cuestión ampliamente investigada y que la Unión Europea es muy activa en generación de conocimiento, contando, además, con un amplio recorrido en este objeto de estudio amparado tanto por el marco regulatorio como por el institucional, e impulsado por el Pacto Verde Europeo presentado por la Comisión Europea en 2019 y por el Plan de Acción Contra el Cambio Climático del Banco Central Europeo en 2021.
