Collaborative networks between nonprofit organizations and sheltered workshops
Abstract
One of the tools used by nonprofit organizations into disability is the sheltered workshops (SW). Through these companies, foundations and charities integrate disabled people into the regular labor market. The aim of this paper is testing the effect that the promoted model from nonprofit organizations in the disability sector has over the SW in collaboration with them. For that, a sample of Aragon SW is proposed to study, using a non-parametric test (U Mann-Whitney) and logit regression. The results obtained show as those entities under the umbrella of nonprofit organizations have better economic health, although these relationships are not improving their social activity.
