Inversión directa y empresa multinacional en Andalucía
Abstract
En este artículo se analiza el grado de desarrollo de Andalucía en el contexto de la inversión directa extranjera recibida y emitida hacia el exterior por esta Comunidad. Para ello, se consideran conjuntamente variables de desarrollo económico y competitividad con el stock de entrada y salida de inversión directa siguiendo los planteamientos de la teoría del desarrollo internacional de la inversión directa. Los resultados se contextualizan en la senda seguida por la economía española y en términos relativos con el resto de Comunidades Autónomas. Andalucía se sitúa en la fase tercera de desarrollo (zona emergente) de las cinco que caracterizan este tipo de análisis.
ABSTRACT
This article analyzes the relative development of Andalucía within a regional analysis in the context of the Investment Development Path, applied to the Spanish economy. In this sense the article combines economic development variables and productivity with the stock of inward and outward direct investment. The main conclusion is that Andalucía is in the third (out of five) stage of development, characteristic of an emerging region.
