El objetivo del trabajo es estudiar el proceso de internacionalización comercial de la horticultura intensiva almeriense. Para ello se analizan el comercio exterior de hortalizas y las características de las empresas exportadoras con el propósito de determinar sus fortalezas y debilidades a la hora de acceder a los mercados exteriores. Por último, se ofrecen unas directrices para conseguir una estrategia de internacionalización más competitiva.
ABSTRACT
The main goal of this work is to study the trading internationalisation of the intensive fruit and vegetable sector in Almería (Spain). For this purpose, the foreign trade of fruit and vegetables, as well as the main features of the export enterprises are analysed in order to show their strengths and weaknesses entering foreign markets. Finally, some guidelines are given to reach a more competitive internationalisation strategy.
