Estrategias agroecológicas de adaptación y mitigación a la variabilidad y cambio climático para la producción de café (Coffea Arabica) en Trujillo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia

El café arábico es sensible a cambios en las variables climáticas predominantes tales como la precipitación, temperatura, brillo solar. La agroecología integra disciplinas ambientales y sociales con los saberes y tradiciones locales para mejorar la resiliencia socio-ecológica de un agroecosistema y adaptarlo a cambios en las condiciones ambientales. El objetivo de esta investigación es proponer estrategias agroecológicas de adaptación y mitigación a la variabilidad climática (VC) y cambio climático (CC) en fincas productoras de café arábico del municipio de Trujillo, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Se realizaron entrevistas a la comunidad. Se empleó el diagrama de Elementos Preferidos para Revisiones Sistemáticas y Metaanálisis (PRISMA) para seleccionar 32 estudios y sugerir estrategias tales como la agroforestería, diversificación de cultivos, prácticas de uso eficiente y conservación del agua y del suelo. Estas técnicas permitirán disminuir la temperatura del sistema, diversificar los ingresos de las fincas y reducir las pérdidas de agua.
