La marche de Jésus sur la mer (Mk 6,45-52) et les parallèles de la mythologie gréco-romaine revue

Lorsque l’on établit des parallèles entre les traditions, il est important d’utiliser le langage avec précision pour éviter d’exagérer le degré de similitude ou de différence. Parfois, des analogues mythologiques gréco-romains (comme Poséidon, Orion ou Euphème) sont appliqués à l'analyse du récit du miracle de Jésus marchant sur la mer (Mk 6,45-52, Mt 14,22-33, Jn 6,15-21), compte tenu de l'existence d'équivalences avec l'expression «marcher sur l'eau» ou ses variantes. Dans cet article, nous passerons en revue les études sur le sujet, comme celles de la bibliste Adela Yarbro Collins, et nous nous concentrerons sur le thème de la marche sur l'eau dans le texte de Marc. L’objectif est de déterminer dans quelle mesure les arguments avancés sont valables ou doivent être nuancés.
