Symbolic construction of the urban space

Abstract

As of interviews in depth and answers that provided, inhabitants of a unit habitacional of the city of Puebla, México, to a questionnaire of type evocativo, we discuss the process of
meaning of the urban space and the construction of the image of the city. We affirm that the symbolic construction of the city is elaborate with contents of the past, present and meanings
originating in distinct social fields. Symbolic geography that remits us to a differential territory but also to a city notified like assembly, to an urban image.
